
Chlorosplenium Cup Fungus - Chlorosplenium sp.
Tiny, yellow cup fungus that really stood out in the autumn landscape! The centers were cream colored-pale yellow and the outsides were darker yellow. Sizes ranged from 1-2 mm.
Habitat: Growing gregariously on well-decayed, decorticated conifer wood.
Note: Could be either Chlorosplenium hypochlorum or Chlorosplenium chlora.
