Jagged Ambush Bugs (Coupling) - Phymata sp.
These two ambush bugs appear to be mating, but they are not. The male is sitting on top of the female in a piggyback position, which is referred to as "coupling" - a pre or post copulation guarding behavior. Copulation in these bugs only occurs when the male is positioned next to the female.
