Coral Slime Mold - Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa
Tiny, branched coral-like structures that have a slightly fuzzy appearance. Individual fruiting bodies are 0.5-1 mm wide.
*Note the gorgeous phalangid to the right! I didn't even see it when taking photos of the slime mold! Bummer!
Habitat: I spotted it growing in large clusters on mossy tree roots on the edge of a bog.
