Exquisite Sailor Butterfly in the Atlantic Forest, Brazil

A nice little butterfly, not outrageously colorful like many Brazilian butterflies, but still attractive. We saw it while on a bird tour and stopping at a waterfall for a pause.

  1. @Barry, are you sure this is Dynamine agacles?
    In the following article a similar species is shown as Dynamine athemon - with this additional brownish line on the hindwing. While D.agacles hasn't such line.
