Quick tips on identifcation

The general process of species identification in JungleDragon is explained here.

JungleDragon has a wildlife browser containing thousands of species, which may help you narrow down your search or even find an exact match. In addition, there is a general search which allows you to search the whole of JungleDragon.

A good way to start species identification is to make use of Google Image Search. By entering some key characteristics of the species on your photo, you may be able to find a visual match quickly. Useful terms to include in your search are the main species category, location, and color. For example: "yellow frog brazil", or "blue bird india".
