White Thorn Mimic Treehopper - front view, La Isla Escondida, Colombia A beautiful little treehopper with a feisty thorn that is described as so strong as in being able to pierce a shoe. The Umbonia genus comes to mind, but I&#039;m unable to find any reference photo at all of a white thorn mimic treehopper.
