Ant-mimicking jumping spider, La Isla Escondida, Colombia I&#039;m not sure if it really mimicks an ant, but it appears that way because of its narrow and tall head. Front legs are vibrant blue, the other pairs of legs look yellow-green translucent. No luck yet regarding the ID. Angle with a better look at the pointy abdomen:<br />

  1. So cool! Superficially, it reminds me of the genus Trite. But, I have no idea if they occur in Colombia. Posted 6 years ago
