  1. If this was in the NE US, I would say that it *sort of* resembles Cycnia sp., such as Cycnia oregonensis. But, in Colombia...??? I have no idea. I predict that you have many months of challenging IDs ahead of you! Posted 8 months ago
    1. Thanks! That does look awfully close, apart from the yellow head. The genus looks like a great starting point.
      You're right about the challenges ahead, it's not looking great as I don't have any great resources for moths in Colombia. I'd buy a book if one would exist, but can't find anything useful yet.

        1. I hope it will. And it's not just Colombia. Ecuador too, search for any group + location and you always come back to the same resource, and I think you know who I mean.

          So much information locked up in books, let's change that bit by bit :)
