Dekay's Brown Snake - Storeria dekayi Small, tan snake with two rows of dark brown spots down its back. This snake was approximately 10-12 cm long. In this shot, you can see that it has an old injury in the middle of its body. <br /> <br /> Habitat: Spotted along the bank of a river in a deciduous forest. We spotted 2 of them (not together). This one showed no fear and let me hold it for several minutes.
