Coral Fungus - Clavulina sp.
I haven't been able to figure out the species on this mushroom and wonder if it may have been parasitized by another fungus.
It was a weird, clumping mushroom that was lavender near the base and cream-colored at the tips. Some pieces were more brownish.
Habitat: Growing in a shady meadow that separates a mixed forest from a coniferous forest.

Helminthosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Helminthosphaeriaceae. Helminthosphaeria clavariarum infects Clavulina cristata.
