Coral Fungus - Clavulina sp. I haven&#039;t been able to figure out the species on this mushroom and wonder if it may have been parasitized by another fungus.<br />
<br />
It was a weird, clumping mushroom that was lavender near the base and cream-colored at the tips. Some pieces were more brownish. <br />

Habitat: Growing in a shady meadow that separates a mixed forest from a coniferous forest.<br />

Helminthosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Helminthosphaeriaceae. Helminthosphaeria clavariarum infects Clavulina cristata.
