Arguably one of the <delete>ugliest</delete> ehhrrmm most "superficially challenged" shieldbugs ;o)
Very low quality picture, just to add the species (spin-off from loading records on waarneming.nl for atlas project)

The Turtle Shieldbug

Podops inuncta (Fabricius, 1775) (also frequently spelled as Podops inunctus) or the Turtle Shieldbug is a ground-dwelling Shieldbug (Pentatomidae) native to large parts of Europe. The larvae feed on various grasses.
