
Hairy Earth Tongue - Trichoglossum sp.
Fruitbody consists of a club-shaped, part supported by a stalk. Both the stalk and head have minute spines (setae). Velvety hairs are present on the stalk.
*Identification beyond the genus is uncertain unless a microscope is used to examine asci and ascospores.
Habitat: Growing in moss at the base of an oak tree in a mixed forest.
