Amanita Subcokeri ( possible )
About 11 inches tall... Cap is about the same in width. Gills are present underside of cap, very frilly. Stem is about 7 in high, and 3-3.5 wide. Stem looks like it is peeling downward, or scaly. Cap is concave, bowl-like. Cap has small spikes, growing larger towards the center. Bulb is rounded, about 4 inches in width. All one color, off white. Interior is meaty, and pure white through out.
As I am an apprentice level fungi guy... If anyone thinks this may be misidentified, please comment.

Unfortunately, I'm not the most skilled at Amanita identification! Have you tried the "Amanita of North America" group on Facebook?
What a beauty though! Posted 6 years ago
No, I haven't tried that site...but I will now that I know of it.
Yeah...I live in the Mountains if N. Georgia ( only 2 miles from the beginning of The Appalachian Trail ), so I began noticing the abundance of different Fungi all around me. Then...just on my own property !! This guy popped up virtually overnight just 4 feet from the little Lane bordering my driveway. I noticed a few cars slowing down...and finally someone yelled " Is that REAL ?? ". I was amazed at the size and beauty of this specimen. I was very lucky.
Again...thank you for the compliment and the website !!
