    Do you have photos of the underside (just out of my own curiosity)? You tried Entoloma medianox as well?

    1. No - no shot of the gills.. I would have had to pick it and in general I prefer to leave things be if I am not going to eat them, especially when they are the lone example, as this one was. I am pretty sure it's a Leptonia (if they still indeed are called Leptonia and haven't been incorporated into the Entolomas) - it's growing from wood, not from soil and that is one of the biggest differences between the two, I think.
