Sarcophagid flesh fly I saw this beautiful fly a couple of days ago...a Sarcophagid Flesh fly with its silver armour shining in the sun. Love those dynamic red eyes as well. As family Sarcophagidae contains many species - all that look very similar to each other - I&#039;m not confident to pin a species on this sighting. <br />

Sarcophagid flesh fly

I saw this beautiful fly a couple of days ago...a Sarcophagid Flesh fly with its silver armour shining in the sun. Love those dynamic red eyes as well. As family Sarcophagidae contains many species - all that look very similar to each other - I'm not confident to pin a species on this sighting.
