Unknown Ornamental Flower (Family Asteraceae) Growing in a public park in NW Georgia (Floyd County, GA). ID help is much appreciated!<br />

I went to visit a flower garden set aside for bee and pollinator populations, and I was unfortunately met with ONLY introduced and invasive species of flowers! I won&#039;t mention the organization here, but I am currently working on writing a letter encouraging the usage of natives and discouraging the planting of invasives and nonnatives. It is maddening! 1. I tried an app called "PlantNet" which tries to detect plant species from a photo and suggests "China Aster" with 4 out of 5 stars likelihood. No idea how accurate it is. Posted 6 years ago
