Climbing Dogbane (Thyrsanthella difformis)
I'm kind of ashamed to say it, but I didn't even notice this inconspicuous vine that the showy Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) was nectaring on! I will have to go back for better photos soon! Growing at the edge of a pond in a wetland habitat in Floyd County, GA.

''Thyrsanthella difformis'', the climbing dogbane, is a species of flowering plant in the dogbane family. It is an uncommon to locally common deciduous low-growing woody vine native to the southeastern United States, found more often though not exclusively in moist habitats.
