Clover Looper Moth (Caenurgina crassiuscula or Caenurgina erechtea)? At porch lights near an overgrown back yard habitat. <br />

Caenurgina crassicuscula is described as having &quot;two diffuse dark bands which almost meet near the inner margin and touch the inner margin (Covell).&quot; Caenurgina erechtea is described as having &quot;2 dark bands that are clearly defined but do not touch each other or inner margin.&quot; However, there are exceptions to this rule. 1. Um, twinsie post! Posted 7 years ago
    1. Exactly what I was saying on your post! Another back-to-back! Posted 7 years ago
      1. I had to do some re-identification because the system created two species records for the same species. They are merged now, and the system calculates the species intro to the first uploader within the species, which was Christine. Sorry, Lisa! Posted 7 years ago
        1. That is okay!

But strange considering mine was the one posted/uploaded first. :O That was the reason I asked Christine if her post was an intentional "twinsie post."

        2. Nevermind! I see she had a photo from a while back that she just IDed! That makes sense! Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago
          1. Yes, sorry! I didn't realize that these two from today had the wrong binomial name in the species record at first. Once I saw it, I remembered the mistaken ID issue happening last time as well. Posted 7 years ago
            1. No apologies! I was just worried there was a system glitch. I'm just glad it is working the way it should! :) Posted 7 years ago
    2. This is getting crazy! :P I'm suspecting more and more that we really ARE soul-twins. My delivery into this world was just accidentally delayed a couple of years. Posted 7 years ago
      1. Lol, so true! Posted 7 years ago
