Milky Caps - Lactarius sp. The caps were tan with darker brown centers. The margins were striate. The gills were decurrent, tan, wavy, had frequent short gills, and produced a tiny amount of white latex. The stipe was brown/white.<br />

Habitat: Growing in moss, on a rock, in a mixed forest with oak, birch, hemlock, and pine.<br />
