Ambiguous Moth - Lascoria ambigualis Total length: ~12-14 mm. Forewings were brown with straight AM line that was edged in black. Median and postmedian lines were scalloped. Reniform spots are oblique, white crescents, which were mostly rubbed off on this moth.<br />

The ambiguous moth is a species of litter moth of the family Erebidae. It is found from Wisconsin to Maine, south to Florida and Texas.
