
Ursula Wainscot - Leucania ursula
Total length: ~18-20 mm. Gray moth speckled with dark spots. The postmedial line appears as random, zigzag dots. The pale reniform spot has a dusky dot in the inner half.
The male has a large tuft of hairlike scales on its foretibia (shown in this photo).
Habitat: Attracted to a light at night in a rural area.

"Leucania ursula", the ursula wainscot, is a species of cutworm or dart moth in the family Noctuidae.
