ID help is much appreciated! The closest I could get was Baorangia bicolor, but it didn't fully match up! I'm getting second opinions!
Growing on a woodland trail near a wetland in Gwinnett County, GA. July 7, 2018.
Pileus: When fresh, colored a soft pink with yellow around the margin. Turns a darker red with a more (slick, leathery texture) after sitting in my bag for several hours. KOH application: Flashes blue and resolves to yellow. Iron salts: Pale yellow. Ammonia: negative.
Flesh: White when fresh. Bruises blue (slightly slower than pores). KOH application: Orange/gold.
Pore surface: Yellow when fresh. Quickly bruises blue. KOH application: Orange. Ammonia: Brown.
Stipe: Red-ridged. Undertones are yellow. Larval tunnels throughout.
