  1. Do you know what kind of wood these were on? Had you considered Dacrymyces sp.? (Check out Dacrymyces capitatus and Dacrymyces stillatus). These look pretty uniform for Tremella (even in a young stage). What do you think?

    1. I have no idea about the wood because this part of the forest was pretty evenly mixed and the wood was rotten. I didn't consider that, purely out of lack of knowledge. On MO, it was only IDed as Heterobasidiomycetes. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look in that direction and am sure you are probably correct! Posted 6 years ago
