Wolf Spider - Schizocosa sp.

I spotted this pretty girl carrying her egg sac in a deciduous forest.

I think it looks like Schizocosa ocreata, but I can't get to a definite species ID at this point.

    Nice find! I spotted a similar one recently and an expert told me you can't ID them without inspecting genitalia.
    Could be different for US species though.     Posted 7 years ago
