  1. Phycitine or a twirler? Did it have black spots? I thought I saw some on the iNat pics. If yes, then it could be Arthrips sp. We have A. mouffetella in the NE, but I don't know If it's southern as well. Posted 7 years ago

      1. It had one line/mark (sorry for the crappy photos) post-medially on each wing. It looked more brown without flash. Check the last photo there. Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago

          1. The flash made it look quite silvery! I was surprised at the difference too! I'd call the normal-level light color a pale tan shade. Posted 7 years ago
          2. Oh, you can kind of see the lines on my second photo (with flash) on iNaturalist!

            Edit: "Dashes" might be a better term for the marks.
