Mosaic leafhopper, Heesch, Netherlands
Introduced. One of the cool things of participating in moth week is that I discover all kinds of by-catch, other insects I didn't know to live in my garden. Such as this gorgeous Mosaic leafhopper. It is tiny, a mere 6mm in size. It is sitting on a stitched chair where I used a ruler to measure on segment at 4mm in length.
A few angles on a second individual found on the cloth:

''Orientus ishidae'', common name Japanese leafhopper or Mosaic leafhopper, is a species of leafhoppers belonging to the family Cicadellidae subfamily Deltocephalinae.
