Mosaic leafhopper, Heesch, Netherlands Introduced. One of the cool things of participating in moth week is that I discover all kinds of by-catch, other insects I didn&#039;t know to live in my garden. Such as this gorgeous Mosaic leafhopper. It is tiny, a mere 6mm in size.       Thank you, and I agree. This species has two common names: Japanese leafhopper and Mosaic leafhopper. I used the latter as it is much more descriptive. Posted 7 years ago
