  1. Wow that is fascinating yet violent scene. Do I understand the larvae is on the left and about to feed on all these aphids? Posted one year ago
    1. Hi Ferdy, it takes about a minute, maybe two, to eat the one. After that, I'm sure the larva would continue on the next aphid it bumps into. The larva can easily eat all those aphids in its lifetime (or a few days for that matter) but the aphids will notice and disperse and/or the larva may be attacked by ants protecting the aphids. It's not realistic to think that this larva can continue eating until the aphids are all done, but at least for the near future it won't be hungry ... ohno! :o) Posted one year ago
