Flesh Flies - Sarcophaga sp.
These flies have red eyes and clear wings. Their thorax has alternating black and gray stripes that often look metallic. The black abdomen ends in a brownish-red tip and spiky hairs.
This genus consists of almost 80 species and spans the entire North American continent. So, I'm not sure what species this would be.
I spotted them mating on vegetation beside a large pond.
