Inocybe Mushroom This mushroom had a strong fungal smell and was growing out of rotting wood/moss in a mixed forest.  It was less than 3 cm tall. The cap was flat and knobbed.           1. I generally avoid photographing them bc they can be so difficult to ID, but I couldn't resist the textured, knobbed cap on this one. Posted 7 years ago
            1. Don't resist, they can still lead to a beautiful photos, like this one. And speaking from the perspective of JD, can still be found using a proper description, tagging, geotagging, etc. A photo not identified still has value. Posted 7 years ago
