  1. So tricky, this one! One theory could be P. audax indeed, which start out with orange marks as a juvenile and grow into white marks. If this is P. audax, it could be an immature female. P. regius is also often mentioned as easily confused with P. audax.

    Sorry, I lack the skill to be confident on this one. You may want to try bugguide.net. And I really hope you do, would love to see this one identified.
