Fungus This large fungus was growing on the ground in a mixed forest (mostly oak, pine, birch). The entire fruiting body was at least 20 cm wide and looked like it had different tiers/levels. The nearest tree (oak) was about 15 feet away. The undersurface had really cool teeth/spines, which bruised a brownish red color.
I don't have an ID for this fungus, but I think that it is either Mycorrhaphium sp. or Phellodon sp.
