  1. Stingless bees are so cool. They may not sting, but many species do bite and are very aggressive in defending their nests. They will rush at people's faces who venture too close - swarming and biting eyes, ears, noses, mouths, etc. Some even emit a liquid that causes an intense burning sensation on the skin. This behavior has earned them the nickname “fire defecators". Posted 7 years ago
