One more lepanthes jewel (miniature orchid) found in Tatama National Park, Colombia. Flower size is 5mm.

Correction: this is Lepanthtes satyrica, not Lepanthes ectopa as I initially identified it.

  Yes they really are tiny, had lots of trouble photographing them as I did not have a tripod with me. A few days later in the set, different location, I have one where the flower is about 10 times smaller! Posted 7 years ago
