Choerades gilva (or ignea)? I photographed this robber fly in the beginning of September in Joensuu, east Finland. I thought it to be Choerades gilva but someone suggested C. ignea. I studied both of them and they seem to be very similar and I can't say for certain which one this really is. I still think it's more like gilva but if somebody could confirm or invalidate that id I'd be very grateful. Both mentioned species occur in the area as far as I know.
