  1. hi Mike,

    "Crane fly" is not specific enough, as this concerns a family of insects, not just one. In the Netherlands, these are 3 very common crane fly species:

    - Tipula Maxima
    - Tipula Paludosa
    - Nephrotoma appendiculata

    I'm not sure which one this is, sorry. Could also be one not in that list.
