      1. Did you read the comment to the other photo? I see that you have changed the ID again. Why do you think it is a migratory locust and not an Egyptian locust?
        I am pretty sure this is an Egyptian locust (Anacridium aegyptium), not a migratory locust, because of the striped eyes and the lack of black spots.

          1. Well, here's the situation. It is called Egyptian locust because it was first described from Egypt, not because it is only found there. Actually, it is widespread in Europe to Asia, in South Africa and even found in Chile in South America, which is not much closer to Egypt than Australia. You can see the distibution range and a nymph from Chile (notice the striped eyes).

            In Australia it has been intercepted at import but it is not considered present. With these striped eyes it cannot be anything else, so I don't have any doubts about the ID. If you have found it in the wild or near some fields with crops you should report it to the authorities so that they decide what to do about it. Otherwise it will spread in Australia too. You can either call the national hotline or contact the WA authorities directly.
