Paropsisterna nobilitata This bright beetle is common in Tasmania but probably always occurred on the mainland.   Slightly larger than the similar examples in the species group and also having larger apical yellow blotches.  It can be easily confused with Paropsisterna gloriosa Australia,Geotagged,Leaf beetle,Paropsisterna,Paropsisterna nobilitata,Summer,chrysomelidae

  2. It is a Perth endemic. About half of the species found in this corner of Australia do not occur in the east of the country. Posted 7 years ago
