Hot peppers These little peppers were given to us by a neighbour who grows them. The nearest I.D. I can find to them is capsicum chinense but it would appear that capsicum chinense is native to America so I will have to rely on fellow members to help me identify them. These little peppers were given to us by a neighbour who grows them. The nearest I.D. I can find to them is capsicum chinense but it would appear that capsicum chinense is native to America so I will have to rely on fellow members to help me identify them.

  1. All Capsicum species originate in America. They have different shapes of the fruits so I don't know if it can be identified this way. The bishop's crown is a variety of Capsicum baccatum with a similar shape. Posted 8 years ago
