  1. Hi Albert, good job recording it for the Philippines!!
I believe the correct name to be Heteroneda billardieri and have added some info the effect in the species description. Also, I've changed the vernacular name from "Yellow-Netted Ladybug" as given by you to "Netty Ladybird (Beetle)". In 2010 I had a hard time finding any name at all for this species (even scientific) and at the time Netty Ladybird was the only name exclusively used for this species (on one or two sites only), so I decided to go with that and also used in on wikimedia commons. Other names were alternatively also used for other yellow-black "netted" Ladybird Beetles.
I realize that GBIF and Wikipedia use the name reticulata, but I believe this to be incorrect. I'm totally done editing Wikipedia and ending up in utterly useless discussions, so I'll take it up with GBIF and see why they decided to use the preoccupied name, but half suspect that they just went by original date of publication and didn't realize the name had been flagged looooong ago as preoccupied.

Heteroneda billardieri (Crotch, 1871) is a species of Ladybug from the family of Coccinellidae, sometimes still referred to as Heteroneda reticulata (Fabricius, 1801), but see under "Naming". The beetle measures around 5-6mm and is found (sometimes abundantly) in Malaysia and parts of Indonesia (Java notably) and can probably be found in other parts of Southeast Asia as well.
