  1. I don't think this is an Amata nigriceps. It is only found in Australia and the thorax is all black while this one has orange spots on it. The wing pattern is similar but not exactly the same.

    In fact, it may not be an Amata at all. I think these photos are the best match but even the expert is not sure about the exact species.
