  2. Just stumbled on this image because it was showing with the image below as representative for Ephemera danica, but this isn't E. danica either. This is a female Ephemera glaucops :o)
    For some IDing-hints see the discussion with this image:

Ephemera glaucops is a species of mayfly in the genus Ephemera. This species is found in many countries across Europe, but it is much less common than its congeners Ephemera danica and vulgata.
