Mating Beetle pair (i dont know the right species) Hey guy, here is my photo of a mating beetle pair. i couldnt find the correct species. although i am not that great with searching correct species, i did all i could but i couldnt find it.

The sharpness isnt really great in my eyes, but it was the best shot i had from them, and it still had something i liked. and yes, i know that i seem to make alot of mating shots. i dont know why, but i seem to always be there when animals mate.

i am curious to know what you guys think of it, especially the quality. if it indeed isnt that great i can learn from it. that is also the reason i still uploaded it. to use it as a learning tool. and as always, i am open to feedback as i am still a learning beginner. 1. Do you have a top view, this is not the best angle for ID? Posted 8 years ago
    1. no, i have some shots that are a bit higher, but they arent sharp enough to use for id. it is too vage. Posted 8 years ago
      1. Too bad, I wouldn't take a chance identifying from this photo.

  2. The quality isn't *that* bad, it is quite good actually. Only when viewing it full screen on a large monitor do you see that it has a tiny bit of movement to it. It looks fine otherwise. I do think it is a bit underexposed, making the photo a bit dark-ish and flat (lack of contrast). Posted 8 years ago
    1. hmm, when i view it full screen i also see a little movement, especially in the background. hmm, lighting could have been better indeed. i will work on it the next time. Posted 8 years ago
