I posted this picture to another forum and was told that it is an Orchid, Cirrhopetalum sp.

  1. This is the back of the flower, the rest of the petals are from the other side. This is what it looks like, there are a few similar species though.

      Could this be Cirrhopetalum sibuyanense then, as Cirrhopetalum sibuyanense is described from Sibuyan Island?
      I saw this during a night hike to Mt. Guiting-Guiting and had not even thought it was an Orchid.

      1. As I said, these species are similar and I am not sure how to tell them apart or what their distribution is. Do you have a photo of the other side of the flowers? Posted 8 years ago
        1. OK, understood. I asked that because Cirrhopetalum sibuyanense is described from the Sibuyan island. Unfortunately, I didn't have any picture from the other side, as I didn't even think this was an Orchid and didn't bother to check the other side.
