Verreauxs Sifaka in Zombitse NP

These are pretty much all white with a dark brown crown - beautiful animals and you can see them easily in Zombitse.

  WEll, you are making me think about going back - but for a huge Madagascar fan like you, you should definitely visit Zombitse, it is, as they say in German: "klein aber fein". Posted 8 years ago

    It is quite likely that we will return one day but not soon. Our new discovery, as you know, is Colombia. It has potential for multiple follow-up trips, and that's not something I say easily :) Posted 8 years ago

The Verreauxs sifaka

Verreaux's sifaka, or the white sifaka, is a medium sized primate in one of the lemur families, Indriidae. It lives in Madagascar and can be found in a variety of habitats from rainforest to western Madagascar dry deciduous forests and dry and spiny forests.
