    1. I didn't have a whole lot of time to search last night, but I was coming up empty... I think maybe it's some sort of Xylaria or a club fungi. I don't think they were dried out or old - some were just stubs and hadn't developed the fan shape yet, but the coloring was the same. The whole piece of wood was covered in them, but I've never seen anything quite the same before. Posted 8 years ago, modified 8 years ago
