
Hopper Nymph
A nymph of Hopper.
The fibrous stuff coming out of its back is crystallised urine. Their urine is very highly concentrated in sugar that it crystallises when excreted. Other insects like ants and cockroaches have been known to hang around this Hoppers to 'harvest' the urine.
