
Can you see me?
This is a juvenile of a Long Arm Octopus seen during a night dive in sandy bottom areas. When this Octopus rest and not moving, its tentacles curled up to make a circular look and its colours blended very well with the sandy area for perfect camouflage.

This Octopus has been known for a long time. Besides Philippines, I have also seen similar Octopus in Indonesia, could possibly be the same one. However, as of now, it is still an undescribed species!
