This Lantern Bug - Pyrops intricata has brown snout with yellow tip. Its wings with very colourful of green with yellow veins markings/lines and yellow spots all over.
This Lantern Bug - Pyrops sultana is mostly white in colour with red/brown snout.
Contrary to popular beliefs that their snout glows at night, hence their name, Lantern Bugs, that is not the case. The snout does not glow or give out light at night.
