Caterpillar of Silkmoth This was quite an impressive Caterpillar, it was huge and fat, around 11-12cm in length.
Its is mostly green/yellow in colour with 2 rows of spines on its back from the head to the tail and smaller spines on the side of its body. Towards its head is 4 bigger yellow tubercles/spines with black hairy tips.

I was told that this is likely a Caterpillar of a Silkmoth, which are usually very large size Moths, easily 15 cm wing span and they are quite impressive in look too. Would have love to see the adult of this Silkmoth. Caterpillar,Fall,Geotagged,Malaysia,Sabah,Silkmoth,Tawau Click/tap to enlarge
