  1. This one doesn't look much like an Amanita - they could have fallen off/been washed away, but most Amanitas have a scaly cap and a ring on the stem, and I don't see any evidence of either on this mushroom. Posted 8 years ago

  2. hi Mike, great photo. I have to agree with the others though, it is unlikely that the species identification was correct, so I removed. Here's a reference photo of what Amanita Citrina looks like:
